Chester-le-Street United’s first-team fixtures are out! The schedule sees us start our second season and campaign in the Ebac Northern League with two home fixtures in the first four days of the season.
Last season’s ninth placed side Boldon CA will be the first visitors as we return to The Riverside on Saturday 29th July followed by Easington Colliery on Wednesday 2nd August.
Our first away game sees us travel to Northern Alliance Champions and Northern League newbies Newcastle Blue Star on Saturday 5th August where we may have to contend with Park View Academy hot-shot Dan Lanning.
There’s also an early season return to Chester-le-Street for last season’s captain, Player’s Player and Manager’s Player of the Year Taylor Campbell as last season’s runner’s up Horden CW come to The Riverside on August 12th.
Other highlights on what is an eagerly anticipated forthcoming campaign sees the Derby games against Chester-le-Street Town currently scheduled for two Bank Holidays. Away at Chester Moor on Boxing Day and the return scheduled for Easter Monday.
One interesting fact is that by the end of August we’re scheduled to have played 14 games out of a 42-game season meaning a third of the season is over before we even get to September. We have to hit the ground running then!
Remember season tickets for The Riverside are available by contacting The Club directly or via the website and are priced at £50 for Adults and £30 concessions/youngsters a saving of over 50%.
Get on board and support the young lads under the guidance of John Gamble and Micky Nelson for what is going to be another exciting adventure.
