If Chester-le-Street United are going to pick up their first point(s) of the season this Saturday they're going to have to do it the hard way as the face Sunderland RCA away from home.
RCA were relegated at the end of last season from Division 1 and have so far already played two home games in the current season. They beat Boldon CA 1 - 0 on the opening day with the goal coming from Callum Hughes.
The looked set to follow that up with another home win against Billingham Town when goals from Matthew Chapman and James Stanger had them 2 - 0 inside the first 20 minutes. But Town hit back with four unanswered goals to seal a dramatic win on the road.
United have also played two home games losing both. They went down 2 - 1 to Sunderland West End on opening day and then 1 - 0 in midweek to Prudhoe YC Seniors.
Once again the squad and starting XI will be assessed prior to kick-off but it more than likely that Work Experience loanee Addis Dore from Middlesbrough F.C. will be in contention for a place after his paperwork was completed this week.
Head Coach John Gamble is back after being unavailable for the first two games and will look to pick a winning side for the 3:00pm kick-off at Meadow Park, Ryhope.
