After the disappointment of another game where United were in the mix for long periods but ultimately lost at home for the fourth time this season they travel to FC Hartlepool this weekend for an Ebac Northern League Division 2 clash.
Chester are unbeaten on the road so far with two wins from two away games but this will be a real test of that record as they face a high-flying home side that are sitting in third place in the early season table.
Thirteen points from six games and unbeaten in five after their opening day loss including currently four wins in a row. FC Hartlepool are a progressive and ambitious Club on and off the pitch. Their start to this season has been impressive.
The signing of Aaron Jackson from Esh Winning has given them a powerful presence up front and he's bagged two goals this season. Top scorer though for Hartlepool though is Fin Smith with four goals so far.
A tough test then for United and one that provides another challenge for their young aspiring squad. Team news sees Michael Nelson and Harley Lawton returning to the squad and being available for selection.
