United are on their travels again on Wednesday night as they take a short trip down the A19 to take on high-flying Horden CW. It's another tough encounter and challenge for United as they look to get back to winning ways.
After the weekend's games Horden sit 4th top of Division 2 with 14 points from 7 games made up of 4 wins, 2 draws and a single defeat. They have scored 19 goals and conceded 9.
This is our hosts fifth home game of the season and they are unbeaten in their previous four at Welfare Park. They are also unbeaten in their last three league games as they sit amongst the early season pacesetters.
Of their 19 goals David Doughty has 6, Ben Henderson 4 and Philly Angus 3. They also have a certain Taylor Campbell in their ranks who captained United in their first Northern League season.
United's current run of three loses has seen them slip down to 16th in the Division but performances in those losses have been encouraging and they'll be hoping to convert that into points in Wednesday's game.
