After a superb midweek that saw United progress in the FA Youth Challenge Cup, The Reserves win in the Wearside League and the First Team beating Billingham Synthonia away 2 - 1 the 'Seniors' face another tough road assignment.
They travel to Perth Green to take on high-flying Jarrow. Jarrow have made a mightily impressive start to the season and currently sit second in the Division on 28 points from 11 games.
They are only one point behind leaders Esh Winning but do have a game in-hand on the table toppers. They are scoring goals for fun and in ex-United striker Benji Shodeinde have the league's top marksman at present who has netted 12 so far.
They also have back in their midst after transferring from Whickham last season's Second Division top scorer Levi Collins. The prolific forward has already notched 7 goals on his return to Perth Green.
Team news for United centres around creative midfielder Harley Lawton and midweek match-winner Brandon Young. Lawton unfortunately damaged ankle ligaments against Synners and faces up to six weeks on the side lines.
Young who came on as a substitute for Lawton to grab the winner would be the natural replacement but his place is under threat as he sustained what looked like broken wrist in his excellent cameo appearance.
Selection dilemmas then for Head Coach Micky Nelson before his side take to the field for a 15:00pm kick-off.
