Fancy some Friday Night Football? Well, if you do then all roads lead to Essity Park Prudhoe for tonight's vital Ebac Northern League Division 2 fixture between Prudhoe Youth Club Seniors and Chester-le-Street United.
It's 7th v 8th in a game which sees both sides looking to enhance their play-off prospects. United in 7th are on a magical league run that has seen them take 9 wins and a draw from their last 10 games to move them onto 37 points.
Prudhoe have won their last two, 2 - 1 at Chester-le-Street Town and last Friday night at home 5 - 1 over previously in-form Sunderland West End. That took them to a 11 wins, 3 draws and 7 defeats record giving them 36 points.
The two sides met at The Ford Quarry Football Hub back on 30th July when Prudhoe thanks to Matt Law's 50th minute goal took a 1 - 0 away win and all three points on the road.
Law is 'The Seniors' dangerman in particular as he has 10 of Prudhoe's 37 league goals to his credit so far this season although Prudhoe are a side that can score from anywhere and have several players that need watching.
It promises to be a tight hard-fought encounter with United looking for revenge and to keep their great run going and Prudhoe looking to build on their last two results. Kick-off at Essity Park is at 7:30pm.
