It's one of the biggest games of the season at a crucial stage as 4th placed United travel up the Tyne Valley to take on 7th placed Ryton & Crawcrook Albion at The Oldhaulage Stadium.
United come into the game on the back of a tremendous 9 - 0 home win over Grangetown Boys Club last weekend. Stephen Siyanbola grabbing his 20th League goal of the season and 25th in all whilst Nathan Conroy and Harley Lawton bagged a brace each.
It all means a potentially massive match-up between two teams right in the mix for the Play-Off places with both teams desperately needing a win and three vital points.
For Ryton, four points behind United, it may be even by a game they can't afford to lose with both teams having only four games to play. A seven-point gap with three left surely a very big task for Ryton to face.
A win though for the home side and it'll definitely be game on for the run-in as it would take them back to within one point of United who currently have a Club record 69 points.
Ryton come into the game on the back of two successive losses. Their 38 games now seeing them having won 19 drawn 8 and lost 11. They've scored 69 goals in those fixtures and conceded 51.
Top scorers for Ryton so far this season are Louis Calvert who has a total of 20 goals for the season with 15 of those coming in the League. Abubaker Salim has 10 goals 9 of which have come in the League and Morgan Dart has 8 League goals.
The two sides met at The Ford Hub back on 5th October 2024 when honours were even and points shared in a 1 - 1 draw. Matty Hayton who always seems to score against United netting for Ryton and Dan Robinson scoring a goal of the season contender for United.
A similar result on Saturday would suit United more than Ryton but it looks and feels like an intriguing crucial clash that could go either way and should be a crackerjack of a game to watch.
