It was a double-boost to the link-up between Huddersfield Town and United yesterday as the full first team went down for a visit to Yorkshire yesterday.
After training in the morning Ebenezer Adoo, Abdullah Alawadhi, Jaden Timmis and Ricardo Pereira were all invited to join in shape training in the afternoon with the Under-23 B Team.
Meanwhile two of Chester-Le-Street's younger players were selected to play for Town's Under-17 side against Barnsley in The Clarets Cup. The precocious Rheyan Grimaud who may still move to Huddersfield at some time this season and striker Ryan Wright were named in the starting XI.
Unfortunately Town were beaten 4 - 0 but the experience will have benefited both boys. As would the whole day in a professional environment for all the first-time squad. as they look to carve out careers at a higher level.
