Played 4 Won 3 Drew 1 Lost 0 For 9 Against 3 Points 10. The proud record The Railwaymen bring to Chester-Le-Street for Saturday's huge Wearside League clash which kicks off at 14:00pm.
It's form and results like that which mean it's another tough test for our youngsters as the season begins to pick up momentum. Far too early of course to talk about Title deciders but it's clear that both these sides should be in the mix come the end of the season.
Tuesday night's 6 - 2 win over Washington United should give Chester confidence as Washington are the only side to take points off Darlington this season with the side's drawing 0 - 0 just over a week ago.
But, it won't be easy. Very, very few games in the Wearside League are. Railway are a an experienced, physical side that are very well organised, difficult to break down and in 5-goal Connor Woodford have an extremely dangerous striker.
Didier Agathe's young charges know they have a game on their hands but they also know that if they can come through it with a win it could really help shape their Championship credentials.
