All at Chester-le-Street United are delighted to welcome the newest recruit to the squad 18-year-old Kobe Bewicke who has joined from fellow Northern League Division 2 side Prudhoe Youth Club Seniors.
Kobe was present at our game and saw first-hand the type of football we play and how he might fit in with the rest of the squad several of whom he already knows through playing for Gateshead College.
The youngster fits the Chester-le-Street mould and will hopefully become a regular in the first team going forward bringing additional firepower to the front line.
The former Northern Alliance Gateshead Rutherford striker who has also been at Whickham, Birtley Town and Brandon United goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's crucial 'six-point' fixture against Redcar Town on Saturday.
