United Looking To Have Plenty In Reserve

The preparations for season 2022/23 continue at pace at Chester-le-Street United as the summer unfolds and there's another training day been organised for Saturday 18th June.

There are a lot of the Under-18's and Under 19's currently in Italy for ten days representing not only United but Park View Football Academy getting warm weather training and playing 3 friendly games.

When they return from Italy some may well take part in the session organised by new reserve team manager Anthony Johnson which will run from 13:00pm to 15:00pm but essentially the session is to welcome newer players to the Club.

The reserves side will be playing in the Wearside League and Anthony Johnson will also manage The Club's Under-23 side who will play in the Durham FA Premier League on a Sunday afternoon.

Members of that side will also be attending the session on Saturday 18th. It is hoped to bolster that side with some of the new Under-17 intake from Park View Academy to give them experience of senior football to develop their experience.

It's another progressive day for a Club looking to maximise their playing squad and opportunities for the coming season.
